Over the years, as well as being a highly valued music ensemble, Fortuna has become an expert on teaching medieval music and culture. Fortuna has developed teaching programms on medieval music for children in primary school, and gives courses, lectures and workshops on medieval repertoire for adults, both amateurs and students, and at the Fontys Conservatory. Made-to-measure children’s concerts have made many children enjoy the polyphonic music of the late middle ages in an easily accessible way: Early Music in Context.
